Just got my Core Contact Freezer this morning. I straight away install it and put it into the test with OCCT for one hour.
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz
Motherboard: Foxconn MARS
Memory: 2x 1GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer 800MHz
Casing: CM690
There you go. 42°C on idle and 63°C on load. Both temps are considered high, probably due to bad cable management and poor air flow. Will look into it later.
This is another method which is much simpler. Confirmed working in N95 8GB V30.0.018 FW..!!
Step 1: Copy installserver.exe and CProfDriver_SISX.ldd into E:\
Step 2: Launch X-plore, press “0″. Tick Show hidden files, Show ROM drives, Show RAM drives and Show system files/folders. Exit the configuration, and let X-plore run in the background.
Step 3: Install HelloCarbide. Run HelloCarbide, and select Menu1. Select Yes when a message appears.
Step 4: Open X-plore, move E:\installserver.exe and E:\CProfDriver_SISX.ldd to C:\sys\bin
Step 5: Restart phone.
Step 6: Install CapsOff and CapsOn. CapsOff enables you to see and travel through hidden/restricted directories. CapsOn turns back to normal. Remember to always run CapsOn everytime you’re done viewing/copying restricted folders.
Done!! You can install all unsigned applications and games from now on. Enjoy~!!
Remove alsa-plugins-pulseaudio. There are 2 ways to do this, by using zypper:
# zypper rm alsa-plugins-pulse
Or by using Install/Remove Software in YaST2.
# yast2 –install
Reboot and configure audio devices in YaST -> Sound and Control Center -> Sound. Set everything to ALSA and enable ESD. Run Nexuiz with the following command:
Sometimes there might be problems connecting to the repos (it happens to me before). Uncheck other repos if not needed and continue with the installation.
